Recruitment & Selection
We have undertaken numerous assignments for both the private and public sector.
- We establish selection criteria for the vacant role - based upon What Skills, knowledge and experience are critical to fully meet the role requirements.
- We then establish the essential competencies (behaviours) that a successful candidate must be able to demonstrate, i.e. How they must perform in the role, e.g. Leadership style
- Produce a Job Description and Person Specification
- Advertise the vacancy, based on pre-identified selection criteria. In parallel, conduct a search of D3’s database
- Sift responses and carry out initial short listing, based on clear evidence against selection criteria.
- First interviews to assess quality of given evidence and candidates. This is immediately followed by candidates taking pre-agreed psychometric and/or ability tests.
- Final short listing.
- Design a case-study based on a real company issue, that is directly linked to the position to be recruited. This will form the basis of a short presentation at final interview.
- Develop interview questionnaire based upon pre-agreed competencies.
- Final panel interviews (Client representatives/D3) to include:
- Presentation of to case-study
- Competency-based questions
- Probe questions based upon psychometric output
- Probe questions based on any missing data
- Measurement against the above items
- Final selection.
