AV Sales Training

Audience

Salespeople in The Audio-Visual Industry.

Objectives

To build the skills needed to make more and bigger sales to the benefit of your customers, your dealership and yourself.

Content

  • Delegates will explore their own strengths and weaknesses and the opportunities and threats they face as salespeople in the AV industry.

  • We will review a five-step sales process to provide a framework within which to apply your skills.

    • Step 1 covers the importance of the Introduction to the sale, the essential first moves in establishing rapport and credibility.

    • Step 2 covers the vital 'fact-finding' skills necessary for you to have a chance of identifying opportunities to sell comprehensive AV solutions.

    • Step 3 reviews the skills needed to sell back to the customer their needs/requirements so that you have a firm foundation for building added-value solutions and proposals.

    • Step 4 covers the presentation of those solutions where you sell the benefits of your proposal. Within this step we cover how to confront objections and where possible to turn them to your advantage.

    • Step 5 covers closing the sale and consolidating your relationship with the customer so as to provide a solid basis for future sales.

  • We will introduce the concept of 'sales flexibility' - the importance of recognising that customers are different and this demands a flexibility of style and approach.

  • We will briefly consider aspects of account management - building long-term customer relationships to make you the seller-of-choice for your customers.
