Negotiation Skills
Those involved in, or about to become involved in, the process of negotiation. This includes technical and non-technical negotiations, buying and selling and any situation where you need to bid for additional resources.
Active participation will equip you to understand the need for preparation, appreciate the structure of the negotiation process, understand the need for give and take, make and obtain concessions, condition the other side, probe for weaknesses, and get a deal that leaves the way open for future business.
We will cover your general approach to handling conflict; the process of negotiation; how to plan a strategy; practical negotiation; clinching the deal; and maintaining relationships.
One day (in-house courses can be extended to two days)
