Interviewing Skills
Anyone involved in interviewing, particularly for recruitment.
Active participation will equip you to: define assessment criteria and an assessment process; design a structured interview; confidently get evidence of a candidate’s competence through a face-to-face interview; make confident assessments and judgments.
We will cover how to define what it is you are looking for in an ideal candidate; draw up a set of interview questions designed to get the evidence you need; how to undertake the interview itself – on a one-to-one basis or as part of a panel; and how to structure and apply an assessment process. We may utilise videoed role-plays as part of the training.
One day (in-house courses can be extended to two days)
