Handling Discipline & Grievance

Managers who need to know how to apply effective disciplinary and grievance procedures.

To provide managers with the knowledge required to develop and apply effective discipline and grievance procedures.

We will cover: the relevant law and the ASAS Codes of Practice; the features of effective policies and procedures; applying the procedures, with a focus on warnings, absence, poor performance, gross misconduct, special situations and appeals; lessons from the Employment Tribunals.

All delegates will take away copies of the ACAS Code of Practice. In-house courses will include a review of existing procedures and will incorporate those procedures into the training.
